Join us for this series of webinars starting May 11, 2021, at noon to learn how to improve your service to deaf and hard-of-hearing library patrons. We'll cover basic information about American Sign Language and Deaf Culture, as well as specific vocabulary for the library setting. Each session will build on those before it to reinforce your knowledge and expand your ability to communicate with members of the Deaf community. The State Library will be supporting the SC250 Commission's first annual Liberty Day at the South Carolina State House. The State Library will be providing swag bags and the SC250 Activity Booklet along with other resources for exploring the American Revolution in South Carolina.
