The Lee County Library is seeking a friendly, self-motivated and self-directed employee who is willing to meet and engage the residents of Lee County, provide exceptional customer service, and create an outstanding library. Excellent communication skills, a passion for working with people, experience in public relations and marketing, and a love of libraries are essential. The Public Services and Marketing Facilitator is responsible for coordinating public relations and marketing for the Lee County Library as well as providing excellent customer services to our users.
High school diploma; Associates degree or greater highly desirable. Previous public relations or marketing experience, work experience in a public library or other customer-centric organization highly desirable. Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be taken into consideration. Must be proficient with computers (e.g. internet, email, Microsoft and Google products) and social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest). Must demonstrate ability to advise and train staff and patrons in these technology tools. A valid state driver’s license, excellent driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
