The South Carolina Digital State Documents Depository provides access to publications produced by state agencies and state-supported academic institutions. These publications provide citizens with crucial information about state government, including statistics, annual accountability reports, and data on a wide variety of topics related to the state. The new South Carolina State Documents monthly publication provides a description, author, and link to the full-text for each new agency document published in January.

This month we highlight Governor Nikki R. Haley’s 2015 State of the State Address, the annual speech given to both houses of the state legislature in joint opening session to report on the condition of the state of South Carolina. The South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs also published a bulletin on the long-term effects of overspending using credit card, listing potential credit pitfalls to think about.
