State Library Announces Free Census 2010 Workshop

Do you work with Census data? Do your job skills include locating accurate demographic data online or working with population facts and figures? If so, the South Carolina State Library is pleased to invite you to attend Census 2010 and American Factfinder Workshop for Information Seekers.

This free workshop, which is open to the public, will include demonstrations of the U.S. Census Bureau's websites for Census 2010 and the new American FactFinder. The workshop presenter, Kelly Karres, is a representative from the Charlotte office of the U.S. Census Bureau and will demonstrate how to locate new and important census information.

The workshop is limited to the first 50 registrants and will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2011, 1:00pm -- 4:00pm, at the South Carolina State Library's administrative building (room 309) located at 1430 Senate Street in Columbia.
