Join us in Dallas, Texas, November 3-4, 2015 to take part in the conversation about issues related to library marketing and communications.

The Library Marketing and Communications Conference (LMCC) will connect marketing, public relations, fundraising, outreach, and program development professionals from public, academic, and special libraries. In today’s digital world, promoting and marketing libraries is crucial. Library public relations, community outreach, and marketing professionals have to strive to remain competitive by using innovative tools for effective marketing.

LMCC is an outgrowth of the Library Communications Conference (LCC), hosted by Kieserman Media, which began as the Association of Library Communications and Outreach Professionals (ALCOP). Those conferences took place near Philadelphia from 2011 to 2014. After Kieserman Media decided to stop organizing the events, a group of former attendees decided to reboot and relaunch the conference. Generous sponsorship from Amigos Library Services is making this first LMCC possible.

The vision of LMCC is to create a platform that connects professionals who are committed to promoting libraries of all types. Through the exchange of information, we hope to build a resourceful community that will move libraries a step ahead. Register for the conference and hotel before July 31, 2015 to get the best - rooms!
