8th Annual Starburst Storytellers' Festival

The Friends of the Anderson County Library, in cooperation with Anderson University, will present its 8th Annual Starburst Storytellers' Festival Oct. 14-18 at the Anderson County Library, 300 N. McDuffie St.

Andy Offutt Irwin opens the festival on Sunday at 3 p.m. Weeknight performances begin at 6:30 p.m. and feature Lynn Ruehlmann with "Mischief and Other Matters: Adventures of a Daydreamy Child" on Monday, members of the Clemson Area Storytellers' Guild on Tuesday, Linda Goodman with "Memories of a Former Kid" on Wednesday, and a rousing, good-time evening with Oba William King on Thursday, the library's Family Night. All tellers are multiple award-winning performers; Andy Ofutt Irwin and Linda Goodman arrive in Anderson straight from their performances at the prestigious National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, TN. All performances are free!
