Thanks to everyone who attended Read-In 2022 in person and virtually. It was fantastic to be back together again to celebrate reading and declare that, “Kids who read succeed!” We had close to 500 students, teachers, and staff join us for the parade to the South Carolina State House, and several thousand watched online. Special thanks to South Carolina First Steps, the South Carolina Association of School Librarians, and Cocky’sReading Express for partnering with us on this project.
The Mission of the Quilts of Valor® Foundation is to cover Service Members and Veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. A Quilt of Valor is a high-quality, handmade patriotic quilt made by several quilting guilds and hundreds of volunteers.
