Brunching with Authors at the SC Book Festival

Eat a delicious brunch with a famous author! Author guests include Jack Bass, James O. Born, Sonny Brewer, C. Michael Curtis, Elizabeth Cox, Nathalie Dupree, Karin Gillespie, Michele Martinez, Clarence Nero, Margot Theis Raven, George Singleton, Mark Turcotte, and Marjory Wentworth. Tickets are $25.

New Director Named for York County Library

The York County Library Board of Trustees has announced that Colleen Carney has been hired as the new Director for the York County Library system to replace David Lyon, who is retiring.  She begins her new position on March 5.

Director of the Berkeley County Library in Moncks Corner, SC since 1996,  Ms. Carney also serves as president of the Association of Public Library Administrators in South Carolina (APLA) and has 32 years of experience in the library field.
