Staff Directory

The South Carolina State Library is an independent state agency governed by a  board of seven members appointed by the  Governor, with one member from each  Congressional District  and one from the state at large. Members serve five-year terms and may be reappointed. The Director, who is responsible for the operation of the agency, is appointed by and responsible to the  State Library Board.
