The South Carolina State Library has developed partnerships with agencies and organizations having similar goals, objectives and customers. The Library staff maintains partnerships with library and related associations to collaborate on promoting and marketing services and resources to citizens on an ongoing basis. Partnerships are also maintained with disability consumer groups and other state agencies whose key customers are or include members of the disability community.
