October is Blindness Awareness Month. Talking Book Services provides reading material in digital audio and braille formats for blind and otherwise print disabled. Patrons who apply for this free library service and qualify have access to our collections of recorded and large print books, described videos, and magazines. The service also offers an app called BARD that is downloadable to iOs and Android personal devices making retrieval of talking books easy and instantaneous.
