The Sumter County Library will present The Big Read throughout the month of October 2013. The Big Read will focus on The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck.
The library invites everyone throughout Sumter County to participate in The Big Read by picking up a free copy at all Sumter County Library locations, including the Bookmobile; Adult Education, Patriot Hall and the Sumter Shepherd Center.
Grab a copy, read the book, and attend these enriching events. Discussion and audio guides will also be available. All programs are free and open to the public.
The Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
