South Carolina 2012 Notable Documents Announced

The South Carolina State Library is pleased to announce the selection of the most notable South Carolina state government documents of 2012. South Carolina state government documents come in many formats and those selected include state agency publications, reports, magazines, and websites. The selection is announced annually in honor of Freedom of Information Day, March 16, the birthday of President James Madison, an early proponent of citizen access to government information.

Awards will be presented to the winning agencies and authors on May 13 at 10:30 a.m. in the Piedmont room at 1500 Senate Street in Columbia.

Winning documents were selected by document librarians around the state and the staff of the South Carolina State Library. All documents are available to view at the State Library.
