New South Carolina State Government Documents for February 2015

SC Vaccination map

The South Carolina Digital State Documents Depository provides access to publications produced by state agencies and state-supported academic institutions. These publications provide citizens with crucial information about state government, including statistics, annual accountability reports, and data on a wide variety of topics related to the state. The new South Carolina State Documents monthly publication provides a description, author, and link to the full-text for each new agency document published in February.

This month, we highlight a map by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, showing the percentage of K-12 students with valid SC certificates of immunization by county. There has been significant media attention on vaccinations after the recent Disneyland measles outbreak.  Counties range from 94.82% to 99.89% of students with valid certificates of immunization.
