The South Carolina State Library is currently hosting an exhibit entitled Shadows of the Gullah Geechee.  This exhibit showcases the photography work of Pete Marovich which explores the lives and culture of the Gullah Geechee people in communities from Hog Hammock on Sapelo Island, Georgia to Mosquito Beach on Sol Legare Island, South Carolina.

The Jennie J. McMahan Library in St. George, SC is hosting a photography exhibit by the legendary artist Cecil Williams from December 4 to January 25.

The South Carolina State Library invites you to visit our new exhibit titled Honoring South Carolina Veterans and their Legacies. The exhibit opens on Monday, November 6 and is available until November 30, 2017.
