History: A web site for teens was created by YALSA and the Public Information Office in November/December 1997. To create the web site, Michael Cart, President, appointed a task force of 10 who served as "virtual" members, with Linda Braun, the YALSA web master as chair. With the creation and installation of Teen Hoopla the Board dissolved the Teen Hoopla Task Force and created in its place this standing committee to maintain the web site.
