The South Carolina State Library is the ideal place to hold your next board meeting, workshop, training session, seminar, or special event. The State Library’s administration building offers multi-purpose meeting rooms, for groups of 10 to 65 people. Day and evening hours are available.

The large meeting room seating capacity is for 65 and includes drop screen, wireless Internet access, large dry erase board, TV with DVD & VCR, ceiling mounted LCD projector, wireless microphone, podium with microphone (mobile), catering options, easel board, and linens for tables.

Two smaller meeting rooms have seating capacity for 10 or 15 attendees.

A smart board is available in the larger meeting room.

Other amenities include convenient access from all around the state and close proximity to the South Carolina Department of Education as well as the Statehouse Complex. The State Library is fully accessible and compliant with ADA regulations.
