Annually the South Carolina State Depository System selects ten notable publications that were released in the past calendar year. Librarians representing selected depository collections serve as judges. The awards are announced on Freedom of Information Day, March 16 at a ceremony at the South Carolina State Library. The archives for previous winners 1990-2010 are available on the South Carolina Library Network wiki. See photos of this year's award ceremony on the South Carolina State Library Flickr account.
