The City of Columbia and RCPL have joined forces to launch the first citywide reading adventure, One Book, One Columbia. All residents of Columbia and Richland County are invited to participate between April 1 and May 15, and then share their experiences with friends and neighbors. The first selection for this annual event is Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters’ First 100 Years by Sarah and A. Elizabeth Delany with Amy Hill Hearth. These books are available to our Talking Books patrons on cassette or digital - RC/DB 37258 or in Large Print- LP 11914. This best-selling book tells the story of two remarkable sisters, career trailblazers, who charted their own path in the world, guided by the strength they gained from faith and family. |
