Short Story America Festival to be Held September 24-26 in Beaufort

Short Story America is pleased to announce that the third Short Story America Festival and Conference (and introduction of Volume Four in the SSA anthology series) will again be held in the gorgeous seaside community of Beaufort, South Carolina, from September 24-26. The kickoff event is the Thursday evening launch party at ArtWorks for Richard Hawley's forthcoming novel, GREEVES PASSING, the brilliant third book in the HEADMASTER'S PAPERS trilogy. On the 25th (Friday) the evening reception will again be at the Lewis Reeve Sams House, overlooking the water in Beaufort's downtown historic district. Saturday will be loaded, from morning through evening at ArtWorks' theater, with author readings and signings, panels, workshops, and the catered evening reception where the winners of the Short Story America Prize will be announced.
