SC State Library to Monitor Public Library Closings during COVID-19

public library closures

The South Carolina State Library has been monitoring the outbreak of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 (now pandemic) and is working closely with our partners and event organizers to help manage its impact on our library community statewide.

As we learn of county public library closures in South Carolina, we will update the list on our website at statelibrary.sc.gov. You may also access the list (PDF) directly here. We also suggest that individuals check in with their local libraries regarding any specialized program or service changes during this time.

The South Carolina State Library encourages individuals to pay close attention to the SC DHEC COVID-19 website at SCDHEC.Gov/COVID19 for additional updates and information.
