It's always interesting to look back into the history of library development in South Carolina. This brief bulletin titled, The school library, from 1915, available from the SC State Library's digital collection, counsels South Carolina schools to create school libraries. It advises about what books to buy, how the library should be used, and how to get libraries in rural schools.
