Greenville County Reads Clyde Edgerton

Greenville County Reads encourages discussion and builds community through literature. This year, the library system celebrates the literature of Clyde Edgerton with a series of programs based on his works. He is the author of ten novels, a book of advice for fathers, a memoir and numerous short stories and essays. This acclaimed southern writer has been a Guggenheim Fellow and has had five of his novels selected as New York Times Notable Books. Mr. Edgerton is a member of the Fellowship of Southern Writers and teaches creative writing at UNC Wilmington. Explore Clyde Edgerton's southern characters and themes by attending Greenville County Reads programs at libraries throughout Greenville County beginning in August.
