The South Carolina State Library, Talking Book Services, invites you to participate in Tuesdays with TBS, a bi-monthly Online Book Discussion. Please, join us Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. We will discuss Satchel Paige's America by William Price Fox. This book is available in cassette format (CBC 474). To order a copy, please call us at 1-800-922-7818.

To participate, you will need: 
  • Access to a computer running Microsoft Windows 98 or higher
  • Internet connection
  • Speakers or headphones to hear the discussion
  • A microphone if you want to talk.

Please visit the South Carolina State Library’s OPAL meeting room.   You may also visit the OPAL  website and scroll down to the South Carolina State Library.

First time OPAL users, may need to download TC Web Conferencing, a free plug-in available at the site.  To enter the discussion room, just enter a user name (of your choice) and press enter.  A password is not needed.  It is recommended that you enter the OPAL room about ten minutes before the session begins.
