COLUMBIA, SC – The Richland County Public Library and the South Carolina Forestry Commission are teaming up to help prevent wildfires in the Columbia area at a special storytime and information session at 10:30 a.m., onSaturday, January 12 in the Children’s Room of the Main Library, 1431 Assembly St.
The program encourages families to become aware of the increase in forest and wildfires in our community and provides tips on how fires can be prevented. Children will also enjoy a variety of stories, and get to check out the forester’s fire-fighting gear and new interactive exhibit. Questions?
