Richland Library St. Andrews serves northwest Richland County and is located just 7 miles from downtown Columbia. The library is located on Broad River Road and is one of 4 library locations offering Sunday hours. This library location is near Columbia High School, St. Andrews Middle School, and Pine Grove, Sandel, HB Rhame, and Seven Oaks Elementary Schools. Many of the library’s customers use the library for access to technology and Wi-Fi. The following are among the various duties you may be performing in this position: * Serving as a member of the branch’s leadership and management team, including actively supervising branch staff and leading teams effectively and judiciously. * Assisting the St. Andrews Manager in managing employee performance for success, and with aspects of interviewing, hiring, and training of new staff and volunteers. * Acting as the primary liaison for a targeted audience, and providing specialized services specific to that audience. * Demonstrating ability to learn quickly and easily apply new skills and knowledge, including procedures and especially technology. * Planning and conducting programs and trainings such as storytimes, book groups, computer trainings, etc. * Coordinating, training, and supervising staff conducting programs. * Answering directional and informational questions about the Library, including its services, materials, programs, and initiatives. * Performing other associated duties as required or assigned.
