The Greenwood County Library is seeking qualified applicants for a Reference Librarian I. This entry-level job is full time (37.5 hours per week). Examples of work include but are not limited to:
• Help customers find materials and/or information in the Library.
• Help customers use the Library’s online databases and other resources.
• Participate in the selection of reference and circulating nonfiction materials.
• Participate in the selection of reference databases.
• Teach basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work one night each week and one weekend each month.
Compensation: Dependent upon experience and applicable education.
Qualifications:
• M. S. L. S. degree from an ALA – accredited graduate school required.
Necessary employment screenings and/or background checks will be performed.
