Assists patrons in using library resources of all kinds. Explains the use of reference resources to help patrons to locate information and materials. Aids in the selection of resources for the reference and general collections. Works on indexing files, readers’ lists, displays, interlibrary loans, patron requests, grants. Performs public service tasks in other Departments as assigned, including Circulation. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: MLS from and ALA Accredited Library School and two year of professional experience in Reference work. Ability to deal with the public effectively and pleasantly. Experience with Automated Library Systems and Internet preferable. Qualifications
