Supervises, plans, and directs the activities of a community branch library to ensure the effective and efficient management of library operations and programming. Oversees and performs reference, circulation, readers’ advisory and provides excellent customer service. Assists with the scheduling and presentation of special programming; selects materials for the library branch; supervises the branch staff. Reports to the Associate Director of Public Services.Salary range begins at $46,346.62
Requires a Master’s degree in Library Science from a college or university accredited by the American Library Association supplemented by three to five years of public library experience as a supervisor, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
