First Year Experience Reference Librarian will be in charge of planning, scheduling, and teaching library instruction to first year students and working with the Reference staff.
This is a 12-month renewable position working 28 hours per/week (Monday - Friday). The work location will primarily be on the Conway campus with some travel between our three campus locations required.
This flexible and outgoing individual will provide library instruction and assist in providing daily reference assistance to first year students as needed. The individual will work closely with the full time Reference Librarian and create online learning tools for individual courses / programs, participate in the embedded librarian program, and monitor live chat.
An MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution. Preferred Requirements: Successful classroom teaching or library instruction experience, working knowledge of SIRSI Integrated Library System and Springshare LibGuides, an extensive knowledge of Gale, EBSCO, and other database searching interfaces, and academic library experience.
