If we don’t have it, let us get it for you.
If the State Library does not own a book or article you need, it will try to borrow or obtain it from another library, even if that library is in another state.
For State Library cardholders
State Library cardholders can request the items in SCLENDS. Even items from other libraries can be sent to the State Library to borrow. For items not in SCLENDS, use the form below for us to try to get the item for you.
For South Carolina Libraries
Items in the South Carolina State Library collections are available to loan to South Carolina libraries. Select items to borrow that are in our collection through the SCLENDS catalog. (SCLENDS items owned by other consortium libraries must be requested from the owning library.)
Please use the form below to submit requests. Providing as much information as possible will help us to fill your request promptly and correctly. For assistance or questions about interlibrary loan service, please contact the ILL staff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
