The State Library has received quarterly printouts of updated salary information for state employees earning $30,000 and above. These printouts are available back to 1987.  Salaries are not available for state employees earning less than $30,000 or those employed by the South Carolina General Assembly and the South Carolina Judicial Department.

The “FOI Salary” printed reports are supplied by the Office of Human Resources, South Carolina Budget and Control Board, but the last report available is May 11, 2010.  These reports may be requested at the library’s Information Desk, 1500 Senate Street in Columbia. Photocopy charges are 10 cents per page.  Salary information for employees earning $30,000-49,999 is not available online.

State Salary Database

State employee salary information is available on The State newspaper web site for state employees earning $50,000 and above. The database is created by The State newspaper and is updated by them periodically.
