RCPL Foundation Announces Minority Scholarship Honoring Ethel Bolden

The Richland County Public Library Foundation has established the Ethel Bolden Minority Scholarship in honor and recognition of Mrs. Ethel Bolden's years of service to the Richland County community and its libraries. The $2,500 scholarship will be awarded annually from 2010 through 2013, and possibly thereafter.

Richland County Public Library to Offer Expanded Internet Access, Help with Job Searches With Knight Foundation Support

Richland County residents will have access to more computers and free Internet service at their local libraries, plus expanded help in using both, thanks to a grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

This holiday season, be a friend of the Laurens County Library and remember someone special. Give a book to the library in honor of (or in memory of) some one special and help the library acquire new books. The library will send that person a card acknowledging your gift. For memorial books, please tell us who should be notified and a plain note card will be sent.
