New science resources available

We are pleased to announce the addition of McGraw-Hill’s AccessScience to the DISCUS collection of online resources, which are available to state employees from home or office with a State Library card number.   The premier source in AccessScience is the 10th edition of the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology, but the content also includes research updates, dictionary definitions, biographies, news articles and multimedia.  The fully searchable media-rich content is continuously updated, so the database always delivers the most current information to users.  Contributing to the authoritative content in AccessScience are 36 Nobel Prize winners, as well as many other experts in the fields of science and technology.
