SC Museums Libraries and Archives Selected to Receive IMLS Connecting to Collections Bookshelf

Dr. Anne-Imelda Radice, Director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), recently announced that 907 U.S. museums, libraries, and archives have been selected to receive the IMLS Connecting to Collections Bookshelf.   Of the 907, 13 are located in South Carolina.

2009 Talking Book Services Summer Reading Club

Children, ages pre-school through 12 are invited to register for the State Library's Talking Book Services Summer Reading Program.  Pre-schoolers may use “Read-to-Me-Buddies” such as Moms, Dads, siblings, or friends.
