Many S.C. State Library programs, resources and services are supported in
whole or in part by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library
Services.
After an extensive executive search, the South Carolina State Library Board of Directors had only to look slightly north for its top candidate. David S. Goble, currently of Charlotte but with Palmetto State ties, has been named South Carolina State Librarian. He will begin his tenure with the SCSL on March 19, 2007.
